Krista has a special interest in pelvic floor physiotherapy, particularly for incontinence, pregnancy and postpartum related issues. She is passionate about the orthopaedic and sports areas of practice and has pursued this passion participating in the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games volunteering as a medical practitioner. Working along-side our clinic's founder, Catherine Striowski, in the multi-disciplinary polyclinic in the Athletes’ Village, she has treated a wide variety of athletes and sports injuries. A physiotherapy session with Krista involves a combination of: manual therapy, soft tissue release, taping, postural and ergonomic education, exercise, gait/running-gait analysis, and modalities (eg.ultrasound treatment, muscle stimulation). To further pursue her passion for sports and orthopaedic rehabilitation, Krista continues to take post-graduate courses to further develop her skills in orthopedics and manual therapy.
