Cathy graduated in 1973 from the University of Toronto Physiotherapy program. She had 37 years of experience at North York General Hospital including 10 years in the sports medicine clinic. Cathy first opened her private practice in 1992 and in 2002 she expanded and relocated the clinic to it's present location. She was a dedicated physiotherapist to the National Figure Skating Team (Skate Canada), including being Chief Therapist for 10 years. She also served as a lecturer in sports physiotherapy at the University of Toronto.
Cathy has always maintained an active lifestyle, including running 3 marathons. Having retired from practice in 2021, Cathy stays active these days by participating in golf, skiing, yoga, fitness training and spending time with her grandchildren.
